Rental Coordinator

A creative, friendly, costumer service rockstar, our rental coordinator is the first point of contact for our clients. Responsible for answering inquiries, building rental quotes and invoices, and assisting clients with bringing their visions to life, the ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter who is always willing to go above and beyond. This is a full time, permanent position.

Rate of pay: starting at $18 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively via email, phone, and social media
  • Perform administrative tasks relating to rental contracts, including generating rental quotes and invoices
  • Offer exceptional customer service, including maintaining positive customer relationships and ensuring customer retention by upselling products and services
  • Answer the phone, directing calls and messages as needed
  • Update the rental catalogue on the website as needed
  • Follow opening and closing procedures of the showroom, including daily cashouts
  • Manage company social media platforms, including posting relevant content and responding to inquiries
  • Retail sales and merchandising
  • Décor set-ups and displays, assist with deliveries and event set-ups/teardowns as required
  • Assist warehouse staff with order preparation and clean up
  • Light janitorial duties, maintaining cleanliness of showroom/workspace

Required Qualifications:

  • Must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
  • Must be comfortable climbing ladders
  • Repetitive bending and ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills – experience an asset
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong computer skills – proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment, often with minimal supervision
  • Availability to work some weekends

Warehouse Associate

Highly organized, efficient, and a wiz at tetris packing, our warehouse associates are an integral part of our operation. Preparing rental orders, processing returns, and tracking inventory, the ideal candidate for this role will be resourceful with a willingness to adapt in fast-paced environments. Part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Rate of pay: starting at $18 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with clients in a polite, professional manner during pick-ups and returns
  • Prep/fill rental orders and safely package for transportation
  • Intake and process returned rental orders – cleaning/inspection/maintenance of rental items. Receive product back into inventory and put away.
  • Inventory tracking
  • Use of fabric steamers, irons, and dishwashers
  • Facilitate minor repairs to damages items and/or arrange for larger items to be repaired
  • Verifying deliveries from third party vendors, making note of any damaged or missing items. Report to Rental Coordinator
  • Communicate clearly with Rental Coordinator and other office team members to ensure smooth processes and positive client experiences
  • Light janitorial duties, maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse
  • Assist with deliveries, set-ups, and teardowns of events as needed
  • Occasional cross-shifts in the showroom, assisting clients with rental bookings and sales transactions
  • Paperwork and form completions
  • Any additional projects as assigned
